As a Real Estate Broker in Beaumont, Scott saw there was a shortage of homes for first time home buyers. Beaumont had many homes priced $200,000 and above, but there was very little inventory for homes less than that.
In 2002, Scott purchased several acres in the West End of Beaumont and developed Wooten Oaks Subdivision. He has built several beautiful homes that allowed young families and retired couples to purchase a quality home at an affordable price.
Scott prides himself in searching for the best quality at a reasonable price. He keeps his profit lower than many home builders which allows him to sell his homes for less, yet still build a quality home.
Scott Shelander was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. Like so many Golden Triangle residents, he grew up spending time with his parents and siblings at the Crystal Beach vacation home they purchased in the mid 1960's. Scott graduated from Lamar University with degrees in Business Management and Finance. He and his wife, Pam, have two adult children who have also been raised to love Crystal Beach.The Shelander family lost two homes to Hurricane Ike. Scott's childhood home was in Tidelands and the home he had purchased to accommodate his growing family was in Sandy Shores.
Scott has also been a Real Estate Broker since 1979 and is a real estate investor. He began building homes in Beaumont in 2003, and has recently completed several homes on the Bolivar Peninsula, including his personal home that was completely destroyed by Hurricane Ike.
Our Beach Homes

We use all treated lumber in our beach home floor systems and build with 2X6 exterior walls. This provides more strength and stability in your home.
There are many critical details that should be included in every beach home. Unfortunately, most people don't realize this and, therefore, don't know to ask their prospective builder. CSB, Construction, Inc. is bonded and insured. TRC #5050.
